Every spring, I've gone to Costco and purchased their cut lilies. They have stately long stems and large fragrant flowers... and most times it's too strong of a scent! But that scent reminds me of springtime and Easter. I photographed these beauties outside and created this painting from individual photos. It is an essence of joy for any season.
